Goodson named to UA Board of Trustees
Texarkana attorney John Goodson was appointed by Governor Beebe today to he UofA Board of Trustees. I happily confirmed the appointment this morning. From the release:
"John has made his desire clear to be a champion for academic excellence throughout the University of Arkansas system," Beebe said. "His time in Fayetteville helped him achieve his success, and he shares the vision of improving our state's standing through increasing the number of our citizens who obtain bachelor's degrees."Goodson replaces John Ed Anthony of Hot Springs, and the appointment expires March 1, 2021.
Goodson, 52, attended the U of A as both an undergraduate and as a law student. He returned home to Texarkana and started his own law firm, which has remained there for the past 21 years.
