I've used this space before to criticize Centerpoint Energy on what I thought was an unnecessary and extreme rate increase application with the PSC. Now I read on page 2D of the Democrat-Gazette that they may not be able to deliver on price cuts because of the recent cold snap.Don't they buy their gas in the summer when it is cheaper? If so, the price cuts would already be there. If not, they're not practicing common business sense. Perhaps someone can educate me.
