First post-VT shooting legislation

Richard Gallot has pre-filed legislation (HB461) to clarify existing law to allow public colleges and universities to restrict possession of guns on campus. The bill has been assigned to the House Committee on Criminal Justice. Opponents have argued that similar legislation for gun-free school zones (VT has one) in other states makes it easier for tragedies to occur.
