Race for Senate District 30

Joe White, a retired Democrat from Conway, announced last night that he will run against incumbent Sen. Gil Baker (R-Conway) in 2008. Baker is the former chairman of the Republican Party of Arkansas, and White served 14 years on the UCA Board of Trustees. Here's the Log Cabin Democrat article (registration req'd).
