Colorado House Democrats extend majority

Rep. Debbie Stafford (D-Aurora) switched parties last week, giving the House Democrats in Colorado the largest majority in about four decades - 40 Democrats to 25 Republicans. A 54-year-old ordained minister, Stafford said the Democratic Party's views on health care access, the reformation of the juvenile justice system and education were closer to hers.
