Valley View residents vote on New Year's Day

As mentioned last month, voters in the Valley View subdivision of Washington County headed to the polls yesterday to determine whether the neighborhood was to be annexed to Farmington or Prairie Grove. Voters picked Farmington over Prairie Grove 116-86.

Rep. Marilyn Edwards previously requested an AG Opinion on whether the election can be moved from the holday, and Attorney General Dustin McDaniel stated that it's unclear whether the election could've been moved.
