McDaniel vs. the payday lenders

Attorney General Dustin McDaniel gets high marks on the editorial page of the Arkansas Leader this week. "And finally we have a lawman working to protect us from the payday lenders." Here's the link. Legislators are receiving lots of e-mail from these lenders seeking protection. Elsewhere in the Leader, Ernie Dumas takes a look at the governor's efforts at reaching the 3/4 threshold in the Legislature in order to raise the severance tax as it pertains to natural gas.
