Nine additional counties declared disaster areas due to flooding

Governor Beebe toured flood-damaged areas of the state today and declared Conway, Craighead, Faulkner, Howard, Pope, Van Buren, White, Woodruff, and Yell Counties state disaster areas due to damage caused by heavy rains and flooding that began on March 18 (see red counties). This brings the total number of declared counties to 35.
