9,800 still without electricity locally

As of noon today, 9,800 Swepco customers are still without electricity here in Texarkana (that's down from 20,000). I don't have the current numbers for Bowie-Cass and REA customers. Crews are out working the lines now and clearing downed trees from the remnants of Ike, which pushed through Saturday with winds of 53 miles per hour (as recorded at the airport).
