Legislators meet over Garvan funding

The Committee on State Agencies and Governmental Affairs met yesterday at the Garvan Woodland Gardens, a 210 acre botanical garden located on a Lake Hamilton peninsula near Hot Springs. Legislators were given a laundry list of reasons why Garvan Woodland Gardens should have permanent space in the state’s budget when we convene in January.
