Early voting continues today

Although lengthy, today's lines are the shortest they've been during early voting

Poll workers in Miller County report that they're handing out sample ballots to the voters waiting in line to help speed along the process. Still, some voters are spending considerable time in the booth, but the poll workers aren't holding them to the five-minute deadline. One change some election officials would like to see is an early closing of polling sites on Monday in order to give poll workers enough time to close down early voting and prepare the county and its voting registry for election day at the normal polling sites.
