Governor Beebe today announced a few appointments to Arkansas boards and commissions:
Thomas Akin, Russellville, to the Arkansas Racing Commission. Tom Bailey, Imboden, as Randolph County Constable Scott Bell, Conway, reappointed to the State Emergency Response Commission. Barry Birkhead, Waldron, to the State Emergency Response Commission. Dr. John Carmack, Siloam Springs, to the Arkansas Board of Examiners in Counseling. Wanda Fraser, McCrory, to the Woodruff County Quorum Court, District 2. Dr. Carl Fredrickson, Conway, reappointed to the Ark Science & Tech Authority Paul George, Berryville, to the Carroll County Quorum Court, District 5. Sheriff Bill Gilkey, Danville, reappointed to the State Crime Laboratory Board. Michael Hill, Greenway, to the Clay County Quorum Court, District 3.
