Beebe announces 21 appointments

Governor Beebe today announced a few appointments to Arkansas boards and commissions:

Thomas Akin, Russellville, to the Arkansas Racing Commission.
Tom Bailey, Imboden, as Randolph County Constable
Scott Bell, Conway, reappointed to the State Emergency Response Commission.
Barry Birkhead, Waldron, to the State Emergency Response Commission.
Dr. John Carmack, Siloam Springs, to the Arkansas Board of Examiners in Counseling.
Wanda Fraser, McCrory, to the Woodruff County Quorum Court, District 2.
Dr. Carl Fredrickson, Conway, reappointed to the Ark Science & Tech Authority
Paul George, Berryville, to the Carroll County Quorum Court, District 5.
Sheriff Bill Gilkey, Danville, reappointed to the State Crime Laboratory Board.
Michael Hill, Greenway, to the Clay County Quorum Court, District 3.
Dr. Glen Jones, Jr., Jonesboro, reappointed to the Ark Science & Tech Authority
Bill Lundy, Little Rock, reappointed to the Ark Fire & Police Pension Review Board.
Paul Mastro, Little Rock, reappointed to the Ark Science & Technology Authority
Dr. Justin Moore, Searcy, to the Arkansas Board of Examiners in Counseling
Dr. Richard Schmid, Arkadelphia, to the Arkansas Board of Examiners in Counseling.

To the State Board of Health:
Dr. Miranda Childs-Bebee, Arkadelphia. Replaces Dr. Jack Porter.
Alan Fortenberry, Springdale. Reappointment.
John Page, Fayetteville. Reappointment.
Mary Beth Ringgold, Little Rock. Replaces Don Phelan.
Dr. Alexander Rejistre, Sr., Pine Bluff. Replaces Dr. Karen Konarski-Hart
Reverend Dwight Townsend, Benton. Reappointment.
These reappointments expire December 31, 2013.
