Arkansas Revenue Report for January, 2007
Collections of Gross General Revenues fiscal year-to-date of approximately $3,005.3 million have increased $144.2 million, or 4.8%, above the $2,861.1 million collected last fiscal year-to-date (we were at 5.35% last month). Net General Revenue available for distribution this month of $442.9 million increased $5.3 million, or 1.2%, from the $437.6 million available for distribution in January, 2006 (this is about 1.2% below forecast).
Gross receipts collections for January, which include sales/use taxes, totaled $198.3 million, which is an increase of 4.2% from January, 2006 (about 1.2 % above forecast). Individual income taxes are up by a fraction of a percent and corporate income taxes are down 14.6% (almost 10% below forecast).
