Culmination of 2007 tax relief efforts? (Updated)

John Brummett just posted an entry on his blog that hit the nail on the head and is exactly what the topic of discussion was over here on this end of the capitol late this morning. Speaker Petrus is out sick today, but the vote on his alternative to Governor Beebe's partial repeal of the sales tax on groceries will be held in the morning by the full House. I anticipate both House and Senate committees will hold the bills next week while discussions take place.

Update: HB1337 is not on tomorrow's voting calendar.
