Sunday sundries (Updated)

My Sunday School teacher Carol Dalby (who doubles as a Special Justice on the Arkansas Supreme Court for the Lake View case, and for that reason who I'm always trying to ex parte [just kidding, Stark, if you're a reader]) began class this morning with a great quote by Vince Lombardi.

The exact wording of the quote escapes me (so I won't mangle it here), and even while I couldn't come up with a parable or scripture that fit this quote, she artfully related it to our lesson in the Gospel according to John. It piqued the class for today's sermon and for tonight's game. Colts by 12.
