39th Infantry Brigade on notice for 2nd deployment

The 39th Infantry Brigade Combat Team of the Arkansas National Guard has received an alert notice to begin preparing for a second deployment to Iraq. Maj. Gen. William Wofford, adjutant general of the Arkansas National Guard, told the crowd of media gathered in North Little Rock on Monday that the Brigade's 2,800 soldiers could be deployed to Iraq in 2008.
