UCA being considered as possible presidential debate site

An announcement will be made by mid-October. Representatives from the commission visited yesterday and say that the site is one of 19 being considered for the four debates (3 pres. debates, 1 VP debate). John Lyon has the story for the Arkansas News Bureau.

The Reynolds Performance Hall on campus can seat 1,200 students, and if chosen, the university would agree to delay construction of its new School of Business to make room for the thousands of people that would attend the event.
