60-member delegation discusses I-49 with Louisiana legislators

Been covered up and away from the blog the last couple of days. Here's an I-49 update from the Shreveport Times. The $562 million project is $244 million short, and adequate funding would finish the 35-mile construction project between Shreveport and the Arkansas line. There was also a bump in the road on the project yesterday -- the Louisiana House couldn't come up with enough votes to pass a bill that contained about $13 million dollars for I-49 funding. A compromise is being discussed now.
