TASD receives $479,589 Phys. Ed. grant

The U.S. Department of Education recently announced the funding of a $479,589 grant to the Texarkana, Arkansas School District. The grant was from the Carol M. White Physical Education Foundation, a fund controlled by Congress that benefits K-12 schools all over the country. The grant will provide TASD funding for physical education programs, equipment and personnel.
