Hunger Challenge recap

I have to admit that I am a little guilt-stricken now that the exercise is over. Still, the exercise had a purpose, and it has opened my eyes to the difficulty of a $3 per day sustenance. I had a headache for a couple of days (I'm sure because the lack of caffeine from coffee and diet coke), but because I didn't purchase any advil with my $9, I didn't take any. It's easy to forget about products like that and other things that don't come with a $9 limit in groceriesfor three days: salt, pepper, butter, ketchup, mustard, and even cooking ware, napkins, and utensils. I realize some of those things can be purchased with funds through other programs or over a period of time, but it doesn't diminish the fact that many people just have to do without, and it's tough. This challenge has had a profound impact on me.
