More pleadings filed re: Swepco's proposed Hempstead Co. plant

Intervenors in the PSC case for Swepco's power plant proposal filed a motion to limit the interim protective order yesterday. They're seeking more data in the site selection and believe that the protective order is too broad. SWEPCO has filed for a certificate of environmental compatibility and public need for the 600-megawatt, coal-powered, baseload, electric-generating plant to be located in Fulton (Hempstead County).
