Ann Clemmer to run for House District 29? -- Update

A reliable source sends a tip that Ann Clemmer is contemplating a run for the state House -- I have a call out to her. Clemmer is the UALR poly sci professor and routine Arkansas Week participant (she's on tonight) who would run as a Republican. That seat is currently held by the term-limited Rep. Janet Johnson (D-Bryant) and has not been held by a Republican for 50 years or longer (if ever). Read here for previous word on this seat.

Update (4:20 p.m.): I just talked to her, and she's strongly considering it.
