Morning in the Quarter
I took my camera with me on my run this morning through the French Quarter. Here are a few pictures -- the first is of the Louisiana Supreme Court building, which moved back across Canal Street to the Quarter the year after I took the bar exam down here. Some find it interesting that the Court doesn't sit in the capital city with the other branches of state government.
This is my third trip here since Katrina hit in 2005, and the parts of town I've seen look much better, especially downtown and the lakefront. The French Quarter is back to its old self -- the Jambalaya is hot and the shrimp is fresh.
