Run the Line Half Marathon: 1:59:33
Update (10:30 a.m.): Great race. I became fixated on trying to beat two hours around mile eight -- I barely scraped by. Here I am about to turn right on Texas Boulevard at about mile 9.5:
Original post: The rain has cleared out, but it's 44 degrees and windy. At race time (8:00 this morning), the forecast calls for winds at 16 mph (gusts from 20-30 mph) -- ought to be fun.
The start and finish lines are at State Line and Broad Street. The first 6.2 miles are in Arkansas before crossing over on Texas Blvd and running through Spring Lake Park. We'll then make our way back downtown before turning west again on 7th and running towards the library for the finish up Broad. I ran 10 on Friday evening, so I think I'm up to it.
