Deadline passes for independents to submit signatures

Seven of the 10 independent candidates for state office submitted signatures by noon today to appear on this fall's ballot. Here they are:

Jeffrey D. Hall: State Representative District 70
Trent Eilts: State Representative District 15
Mal Stokes: State Representative District 13
Bonnie D. Brown: State Representative District 81
John Wayne Harty: State Representative District 48
Marjorie LeClair: State Representative District 70
Robert “Bob” E. Philyaw: State Representative District 54

Neither of the two independents for U.S. Senate, Don Hamrick and Richard Percefull, submitted petitions, nor did Robert C. Webb of HD34.
