Farm Bill clears U.S. House 318-106; Ross oversees passage

Congressman Ross presided over the House as Speaker pro tempore during the vote for final passage of the 2008 Farm Bill yesterday and urged the President to abandon his veto threat of the legislation. He commended his colleagues for joining him to help pass the legislation, which he called a necessary step to maintaining a critical safety-net for Arkansas farmers.
