Texarkana congressional hearing

I'm just returning from the Martha and Josh Morriss Mathematics and Engineering School on the Texas-side, where the U.S. House of Representatives Committee on Science and Technology held a field hearing. Present were Chairman Bart Gordon (D-Tennessee), Congressman Mike Ross, and ranking member Ralph Hall (R-Texas). The main topic was STEM Education before high school, and witnesses included local educators, administrators at several levels, and business interests. Here are a few pictures:
