Arkansas Senate to convene today for vote -- Update

For the first time in 34 years, the Arkansas Senate will convene today (Thursday) to consider removing one of its members over election fraud and irregularity allegations during a 2006 election. This vote comes after a Senate committee recommended that Sen. Jack Crumbly (D-Widener) keep his seat. Here's the AP article.

Update: By a vote of 19-12, Crumbly will retain his seat.
