Not many counties hit harder than Conway Co. this year

Since January 8, Conway County has experienced six disasters: an F-2 tornado (January 8), an F-4 Tornado (February 5), a flood (March 18), a second flood (March 18), a third flood (April 3), and an F-3 tornado (May 2). The ADEM will be visiting each of the 34 predetermined earthquake counties over the next several months to improve preparedness, response and recovery efforts related to a potential catastrophic earthquake in the New Madrid Seismic Zone. Their goal is to take the information gathered in the workshops and refine it so that each county can use it to plan for an earthquake or other disaster.
