AARP holds traditional legislative rally

The AARP is holding its traditional rally on the first day of the sesson to lay out its legislative agenda for the session. The event is taking place in the rotunda. The Arkansas chapter is supporting legislation to increase Medicaid home care funding, stop identity theft, fight forced foster care, and provide decent housing. They're also advocating implementation of the "silver alert" system, which is akin to the Amber Alert, only for seniors.
