Setting the agenda, and reporting it

Here's a link to an Arkansas Times article about blogging in the legislature and how new media works in the Arkansas Capitol.

Speaking of new media, one of the fun things is seeing where the readership of this site comes from. Under the Dome logged one of its top five busiest days as far as traffic is concerned yesterday with the vote of HB1204 (about 3,000 unique visitors) -- we had over 700 unique visitors online during the vote itself. To the right is a nifty map from Google Analytics showing the cities of the Arkansas visitors to Under the Dome yesterday. Since the vast majority of Texarkana readers use Cable One or Windstream, Texarkana readers show up on the Texas map (and oh yeah, don't worry -- the city of the internet provider is the only thing Google collects! Even if I knew who you were, I wouldn't out ya for reading the blog at work).
