TEA Party coalition to attend Snyder town hall meeting tomorrow- UPDATE (cancelled)
An e-mail just arrived from Laurie Masterson encouraging members of her coalition of Arkansas TEA parties to attend Congressman Vic Snyder's town hall meeting tomorrow in Little Rock. In bold, the e-mail states in part:
Update: Congressman Snyder's office says the meeting has been cancelled due to a scheduling conflict. No new date is known.
Please go prepared with concise questions and correct information, go to be firm but respectful, we want ANSWERS so please let him speak. At the same time there is nothing wrong with making sure the congressman knows where you stand.Nothing wrong with that letter, and it's much better than some of the other letters that have surfaced around the country urging people to be disruptive. I'm not a fan of people taking over and controlling meetings using bully tactics such as the meetings that have taken place in Austin, New York, and Pennsylvania recently (that's not fair to the other constituents in attendance), but having a spirited but civil debate between people knowledgeable of the individual points of pending legislation ought to help flesh out the points of contention.
Don't attack the man defeat the policy!
