Last day to file bills

Today marks the deadline for filing bills for the 86th General Assembly. We are told that the clerk's desk will close at 5:00 p.m., and I expect the activity over in that corner of the House to be at a frantic pace throughout the day. Here are a couple of links to watch throughout the day:

Additionally, we're expecting the Academic Facilities Oversight Committee to make its recommemdation for funding public education facilities improvements tomorrow. Several shell bills will be filed today that should be amended to satisfy our obligation on that front.
