Arkansas Revenue Report for April, 2007
Collections of net available general revenues fiscal year-to-date of almost $3.7 billion increased by $551.1 million in April. That is $40.3 million, or 7.9%, more than a year ago. It is also $30.7 million, or 6%, above forecast.
Gross receipts collections for April, which include sales/use taxes, totaled $185.2 million, which is an increase of 6% from April, 2006 (and came in about 3.2 %, or $5.7 million, above forecast). Individual income tax collections are up 7.7% and corporate income tax collections are 44.7%, and both come in above forecast.
