Oliver accepts position as manager of the state Racing Commission

Ron Oliver, the former chairman of the Democratic Party of Arkansas who most recently has served as Lt. Gov. Halter's chief of staff, will soon be heading up the Arkansas Racing Commission. He'll begin work August 1.
