Arkansas weekend

There are a few festivals around the state this weekend. John Anderson will headline the 35th Annual Pine Tree Festival in Dierks (Howard Co.), and you can expect to see the traditional events there: a cross-cut saw contest, a log loading contest, chainsaw cutting contest, and an archery contest. The Pine Tree Parade kicks things off at 10:00 this morning. Here are festivals and events of note in Arkansas this weekend:
