SWEPCO hearing update

Testimony continued Monday before the Arkansas Public Service Commission regarding the coal-fired power plant SWEPCO proposes to build in Hempstead County between Hope and Texarkana. This David Smith article in this morning's Arkansas Democrat-Gazette is also published onthe front page of today's Texarkana Gazette. John Hendricks and Jerry Jewell testified on behalf of SWEPCO Monday. The Intervenors are expected to present eight witnesses to provide testimony beginning today.
