Ed Linck to challenge Rep. Kathy Webb -- Updated
Republican Ed Linck, an employee of LTS Logistics and the former membership director of the Little Rock Regional Chamber of Commerce, will apparently challenge incumbent Kathy Webb in House District 37. District 37 is in midtown Little Rock and is made up primarily of Hillcrest and parts of downtown and Leawood. Webb amassed 56.5% of the vote in the 2006 election in a four-way primary.
Update: I just visited with Ed. He's "99.9%" sure he's in, but he may end up moving out of the district and into District 38. Pursuant to Arkansas law, if he moves into District 38, he wouldn't be able to run for that seat in 2008. That would probably be the only thing stopping him, he says. Here's a map of the district:
