Saturday pictures
It's a slow Saturday, and since Lori's in Dallas shopping and it's tough keeping a two-year old entertained here at the house, Camille and I took a little road trip. The U.S. Geological Survey benchmark to the right marks the point where Arkansas, Texas and Louisiana meet.
We saw the modern-day pioneers just north of Bright Star returning from Tombstone, Arizona (see below).
We also ran over to the "forgotten" state park in Lafayette County, Conway Cemetery, where Arkansas's first governor James Sevier Conway is laid to rest.
Camille's now down for the count, so I'm going to get a little work in before the Hogs come on at 7:00 p.m.
