UACCH hosts Legislative Council Subcommittee on Higher Education

Dr. Chuck Welch and the University of Arkansas Community College at Hope hosted the Higher Ed Subcommittee yesterday to discuss changing workforce trends and the impact on Arkansas institutions of higher education. Welch also gave a presentation on enrollment trends at two-year colleges in Arkansas. Welch, who recently completed his term as president of the Arkansas Association of Two-Year Colleges, told the committee that enrollment at UACCH is up this semester from 1,020 students to 1,309 students.
