Also in Pennsylvania today

While all eyes are on the Keystone State for today's presidential primaries there, the downballot races could also play a large role in determining control of Pennsylvania's Legislature in the fall elections. 40 contested legislative races will appear on today's ballot. Democrats control the Pennsylvania House by one seat, and Republicans control the Senate by eight seats.

Complicating the Pennsylvania legislative races is the fact that 152,000 new voters will help determine the primary victor in these races, so reaching these new voters was a priority in legislative campaigns. Here's more from stateline.org.

Another big statewide race on the ballot is the race for Pennsylvania Treasurer. One of the candidates, PA state Rep. Jennifer Mann, is in the DLC Fellows program with me. She's one of four running in the Democratic primary for the position.
