Governor appoints 20
Governor Beebe announced 20 appointments today to the Arkansas Independent Living Council, the Arkansas Service Commission, and the Criminal Detention Facility Review Committee. Here's the link to the appointments.
Update (4:20 p.m.): Also from the governor's office, Lonoke and Pike counties have been added to the list of five declared disaster areas due to damage caused by severe storms and heavy rains on April 3 and 4. Taking into account previous disaster declarations of recent weeks, the total number of declared counties is now 46.
