The deadline imposed by Attorney General Dustin McDaniel for payday lenders to close shop in Arkansas has passed, and McDaniel will speak to the status of the issue tomorrow at 10:30 at his office (2nd floor of the Tower Building, 200 Center Street, Little Rock). Less than half of the operators have complied with his directive. Sic 'em.
