Money where your mouth is?

The Louisiana Legislature voted last week to more than double their pay from $16,800 to $37,500, which gives them the highest base pay among southern legislatures and the 14th highest in the country. The 62 legislators voting against the proposal had until last night to say whether or not they would accept the raise. Only 20 chose not to accept the raise after voting against the pay hike.
