Higher Ed report to be released Friday

The Arkansas Task Force on Higher Education Remediation, Retention, and Graduation Rates will be presenting the group's final report on Friday, 10 weeks ahead of schedule. Task Force members will discuss the findings and recommendations during a press conference following Legislative Council in the Old Supreme Court room at the Capitol at approximately 11:00 a.m.

Although the report is not due to be presented to the General Assembly until Nov. 1, 2008, the Task Force wanted to complete its work in time for budget hearings. Copies of the report will be available during the press conference. The task force was chaired by Rep. Johnnie Roebuck (D-Arkadelphia).
