AEDC names Gaines as deputy director

AEDC Director Maria Haley announced that Michael Gaines will become deputy director of the agency. Gaines replaces Randy Zook, who left his position to become president of the Arkansas State Chamber of Commerce and Associated Industries of Arkansas. The VP and general counsel of James Lee Witt and Associates, Gaines also served as chairman of the Arkansas Parole Board and executive director of the Arkansas Supreme Court Committee on Professional Conduct during the Clinton gubernatorial administration.
