Governor adds 10 counties to list of disaster declarations

Governor Beebe declared Bradley, Clark, Cleveland, Dallas, Grant, Montgomery, Ouachita, Perry, Prairie and Scott Counties (red) state disaster areas today due to damage caused by the remnants of Hurricane Gustav. This brings to 20 the number of counties declared after three days of storms last week brought flooding rains and high winds to much of the State. On Monday, Beebe declared Ashley, Calhoun, Chicot, Drew, Garland, Hot Spring, Lincoln, Pulaski, Saline and Van Buren Counties disaster areas (blue).
