"Several employees" fired from DFA

KARK is reporting that several employees have been fired from the Arkansas Department of Finance and Administration for misconduct. The matter is being investigated by the Arkansas State Police.

Update (5:30 p.m.): KTHV is reporting that the firings are centered around allegations that funds in the specialty-plates section of the office of motor vehicles have been diverted for personal use by several employees.

Update II: The AP reports that five employees were fired.
