Tobacco levy

The Texarkana Gazette editorial board looks at the growing momentum for an increase of the tobacco tax in Arkansas. It doesn't take a position but notes that even a 50 cent increase to the cigarette tax in Arkansas would still be lower than it is across State Line Avenue, where the cigarette tax is $1.41 per pack (we're currently at 59 cents per pack).
